In 1983, the photographer Shigeo Gocho passed away prematurely at the young age of 36. Since his death, his photographic works have continued to reveal a profound resonance, capturing and moving the hearts of audiences.
This film visits sites deeply connected with Gocho, weaving together his surviving drafts, personal correspondence, photographs, and archival voice recordings. It presents a brand-new cinematic world that operates neither as a conventional biography nor a dry critique of the artist, beautifully re-sketching the living presence of Shigeo Gocho.
