QUEER READS LIBRARY x c.95d8 CRIP SPACE: QUEER (/) CRIP LIBRARY

2026/10/08-2026/12/31c.95d8 Crip Spacelibrary

“Crip (/) Queer” is not a boundary between two fixed groups.

It is more like a slash—a space where crip and queer, disability and queerness, can come close to and intersect with one another through identities, bodies, experiences, and ways of imagining.

Following last year's event CRIP FUTURES (/) QUEER MARKET at Eaton House, Queer Reads Library and c.95d8 will continue to open up conversations between queer and crip perspectives from different angles. This time, we take the form of a library, bringing reading, sharing, and discussion into a slower space. Books can be an entry point for understanding ourselves, encountering others, and imagining possibilities beyond what we already know.

QUEER (/) CRIP LIBRARY will be open at c.95d8 Crip Space from October to December, exploring different intersections between crip and queer through a series of monthly themes. Each month, we will curate a selection of books around the month’s theme for display and reading in the space. Alongside the books, we will host conversations, screenings, and artistic practices that open up questions without necessarily seeking fixed answers.

What can we read between queer and crip? And what might we imagine anew?
