Passport Photo Studio

2026/07/25 15:00–18:00c.95d8 Crip SpaceWorkshop

📸 Passport photos are never just passport photos.

They are a form of discipline, a format, a technology that compresses the body into something legible. In Passport Photo Lab, we combine performance art and discussion to open a temporary crack in the system, where body, image, standards, and identity can be renegotiated.

You will become both the "subject" and the "decision-maker"—on one hand, refusing correction and compromise; on the other, collectively shaping the terms of the image.

From a Queer / Crip perspective, we attend to how bodies are named, classified, and made legible, and how this exposes the violence and fractures of the system. This is not just a photo session, but a site for noncompliant bodies to speak.
