Peter takes in his estranged teenage son Nicholas, who is struggling with severe depression after his parents’ divorce. Despite desperate attempts to reconnect and heal the rift, Peter fails to fully confront his past mistakes and the heavy weight of family expectations. After Nicholas tragically dies by suicide, Peter is consumed by overwhelming guilt and grief, left only to imagine the life and bright future his son might have had.
