✨ Why this event?
I realized that many people experience varying degrees of anxiety around eating and find it difficult to coexist peacefully with food. What shocked me even more was realizing that a "hierarchy of suffering" exists within eating disorder circles—where people gatekeep or compare who has it worse. This often deters individuals from seeking help and worsens the situation.
I want to say: your struggles and pain are completely valid. You do not need to be defined by others, nor do you need to compete over who suffers more. There is absolutely no need for shame.

✨ About the Facilitator
Hilary — Fitness Coach, Former Bodybuilder, 10-year Eating Disorder Survivor.
Body anxiety originating from my family, multiple weight loss attempts, and various pressures after entering the fitness industry and competing in bodybuilding... all led me to suffer from an eating disorder for ten years. For me, eating once became a literal battlefield.
