I wear my vag on my sleeve

I wear my vag on my sleeve

2026/05/03 14:00–17:00, 2026/05/17 12:00–17:00c.95d8 Crip SpaceWorkshop

The vagina, ovaries, uterus, vulva et.al. are shackled with meanings. They are dirty, emotional, source of lust, temptation, hysteria. Or, they are feminine, gentle, loving, the source of life.
What if they’re neither of these things?

What if I love them, but they exhaust me?
What if childbirth has never been my plan, what do I do with them then?
What if female isn’t who I am, how do I live with them?

In these two workshops, we’ll:
🤔 ponder our lived experience with our vagina et.al.;
🎨 embroider / collage / draw it on the garment / tote bag or whatever it is that you brought in;
👐🏽 share our stories with one another.

Facilitator: local queer youth with a fascination on vagina et.al., contemplated cutting them all off upon getting their first few periods. Been dabbing in different ways of creating with fabrics and fibres since they were a local queer child.

If you used to / currently / will own / lose / yearn for / resent vagina et.al., come explore with us.
